Ana has been part of the SunRidge School community since 2024, bringing her care, dedication, and love for the natural world to her role as Site Maintenance Coordinator. With a passion for creating clean, safe, and beautiful spaces, Ana helps maintain the magic of the SunRidge campus where students are free to grow, play, and create.
Ana grew up in El Salvador with her grandmother, sister, and Mama Coralia, surrounded by fruit trees, chickens, and her beloved goat. After moving to the U.S. in sixth grade, she worked a wide variety of jobs—from landscaping to office work—always searching for a place that felt like home.
Before joining Twin Hills Union School District, Ana worked in restoration at Alcatraz, a job she loved deeply. When the pandemic ended that chapter, Ana accepted a temporary position at SunRidge—and immediately fell in love with the gardens, the creativity, and the kindness that filled the campus. It wasn’t long before she knew she had found where she belonged.
