Parent Council
SunRidge Parent Council is a group of parent representatives set up to support school appreciations and fundraising. Monies earned from Parent Council fundraisers go to support student field trips throughout the grades.

Meetings are held in the SunRidge school library from 5:30-7:00 on the FIRST TUESDAY of every month. Zoom link provided.
All are invited to attend.

Equity Council
SunRidge Equity Council is a subgroup of the Parent Council that has been formed by a group of Sunridge parents interested in addressing topics of equity, culture and belonging.
We partner with school staff, teachers and parents to work toward greater equity and inclusion for all students at Sunridge.
Some examples of our events and activities from last year:
- Hosting an equity focused parent book club
- Hosting meetups for SunRidge families at local cultural events
- Hosting a clothing swap for SunRidge families
- We engaged in outreach to local Spanish language preschools and researched options for school speakers and curriculum
