SunRidge School Music Program

A message from Eddie Guthman Music Director about
SunRidge middle school instrument program

Dear Parents of 7th and 8th grade SunRidge students,
I am happy to report that we have found a way to bring instruction for instruments to the middle school students at
no cost to you. The class will focus on skills and technique and will be an excellent way for your child to improve their ability on their instrument. We will meet on every Tuesday morning at 7:45am until 8:30am. Even though I know
it will be an extra effort to get to school that early, it is the perfect way to start the school day because not only is the
campus quiet, but students minds are clear and ready to engage in music at that time.  Michael, Bill and Gregory
are aware that music students will arrive 10 minutes late to class and are in support of this program.

The following instruments are welcome:
violin
viola
cello
acoustic bass
flute
clarinet
oboe
trumpet
trombone

I feel that it is very important to have a strong music program at SunRidge School, and critical that the middle
school is included in this endeavor. Please help me to build this program by encouraging your child to come on
Tuesday mornings and continue to learn how to better their skills on their instrument while at the same time make
a statement that an instrument program for the middle school is important to you. Should you have questions,
comments or concerns at any time, please feel free to call me at 707 827 3388 or email me at
eddiekareng@yahoo.com
Thank you for your support.

Sincerely,
Eddie Guthman
